Alexandra Dimech

Legal Counsel

Alexandra started her legal career with a law firm as a trainee in the litigation department, and in 2015 joined the legal department of the International Client Services arm of a leading mid-tier audit firm where she managed a portfolio of clients operating in various sectors, assisted iGaming clients with obtaining a licence from the Malta Gaming Authority and assisted with their regulatory and compliance obligations, advised on and saw through a number of mergers and acquisitions, advised clients on ownership structures, VAT and registration matters in the yachting and aviation sectors and provided corporate legal counsel and services to both local and foreign clients.

Alexandra is a certified Key Person with the Malta Gaming Authority representing B2B and B2C iGaming licencees in their regulatory compliance matters.

Alexandra loves her work and enjoys each new project as she gets it, staying motivated by the knowledge that people don’t ‘buy’ what you do but rather, why you do it. For Alexandra, it’s for the closing of a deal, for the successful negotiations, for the desired result, for the trust of the client and for the learning curves and the knowledge along the way.

Alexandra savours a problem and enjoys devising a solution, and although her experience goes into different areas, her true passion are those jobs that afford her most client interaction and negotiation with other parties. Dynamic, client-focused and a problem-solver, Alexandra is keen on building lasting relationships with her clients and finds that to work with people from all over the world is very rewarding

At DZ Advisory Alexandra acts as counsel for private clients, specifically in relation to applications for Maltese citizenship and residency, and accommodates clients with assistance in their estate planning and iGaming endeavours as well as with respect to requirements as to yachts and jets and their registration and operation in and from Malta.
